Boss at my co-op placement is always making comments about my dress.
Should I just ignore it?

WHY DRAW THE LINE
WHEN TO DRAW THE LINE
HOW TO DRAW THE LINE
Everyone has a right to work in a healthy, safe, respectful and equal environment, and be free of harassment. Employers must prevent or stop harassment in the workplace, and this includes within a co-op environment.
Any unwanted comment or joke, attention, or conduct of a sexual nature in the workplace is considered sexual harassment and is against the law.
There is always more than one option for a bystander. Take a stand and do something you feel comfortable with. You can:
- Check in with your friend: "Are you ok? Let's talk to someone."
- Support and believe: Listen to their experience.
- Report it: Tell someone you trust – the co-op teacher, a teacher, a principal, a parent/caregiver or elder.
